Last Updated: Aug 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to FunAnyway, operated by Zaisland Inc. ("Zaisland," "we," "us," or "our"). Zaisland Inc. is the operator and controller of personal data described here. This Policy explains when, how, and why we collect, store, use, and/or share (collectively, "process") your information when you use our services ("Services"), such as:
- Accessing our FunAnyway application or any website linked to this Privacy Policy.
- Interacting with us through other related means, including sales, marketing, or events.
Please read this carefully. It is very important for you to understand how we collect and use your information, and how you can manage it.
Questions or Concerns?
Reading this Privacy Policy will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@zaisland.com.
1. Personal Data We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
When you register, express interest in our products or services, participate in activities within the Service, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect information you voluntarily provide. We may collect the following personal information:
- Email address
- Username
- Password
We do not process sensitive information.
Information We Receive from Third Parties
- Single Sign-On (SSO): If you choose to sign up or log in using a third-party account (e.g., Google, Apple), you authorize us to receive certain information from that third party, such as your email address, profile name, profile image, and a unique account identifier (or token), as permitted by the third party and your privacy settings.
Children
Children must not use the Service for any purpose, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children for any purpose. By children, we mean users under the age of 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without the consent of the child's parent or guardian, we will delete it. Users under 18 must have permission from their parents or guardians to use our Services.
2. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data only when we have a valid legal basis to do so, including for the following purposes:
To Provide, Operate, Secure, and Support the Platform
We process your personal data only as needed to provide, operate, secure, and support the Services you request, including:
- Operating and maintaining your FunAnyway account and verifying your login identity.
- Identifying you as the creator of moments, memories, and related content you share with Momo.
- Responding to your comments, inquiries, or feedback.
- Providing support and maintenance for the Platform.
Processing of User Content and Generated Content
A Moment is one real-life image plus optional text that you choose to share. To provide FunAnyway's Momo memory and growth experience, we encrypt and store Moments, generated Memories, and related content in the cloud. We process this User Content only to provide, operate, secure, and support the Services you request, not to improve or train products or models. These records will not be shared or disclosed without authorization.
Use of Camera and Photo Library
If you choose to share a moment from your device, the application may request camera or photo library access. We will access, upload, store, or transmit photos only when you choose to capture or select them through the feature. You can enable or disable these permissions at any time in your device settings.
Analytics and Advertising Measurement
We use PostHog on FunAnyway marketing and product pages to understand page use, product interactions, and the landing-to-product journey. PostHog may process browser and device information, IP-derived location, page paths, referrers, permitted campaign parameters, page views, landing-page CTA interactions, and product interaction events.
We also use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics, and Google Ads conversion measurement on FunAnyway marketing and product pages to measure advertising performance, attribute registrations and product interactions, and improve advertising delivery. These tools may process browser and device information, IP-derived location, page URLs, referrers, campaign parameters, advertising cookie identifiers, page views, landing-page CTA interactions, account registration, and viewing a first generated Memory.
We do not send your email address, Moments, optional text, generated Memory content, or internal content identifiers to PostHog or these advertising tools. FunAnyway stops or does not load these tools when the browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or when an analytics preference is set to denied.
To Maintain a Secure Environment
We may also process your data based on legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention and cybersecurity) to ensure the safety and integrity of the platform.
Comply with Law
We may process your personal data to comply with applicable law, for example, to satisfy tax or reporting obligations, or to comply with a lawful governmental request.
Account Deletion
If you choose to delete your account, the following data will be erased:
- Personal information you provided
- Content generated using app features, including but not limited to shared moments, Momo memories, and growth history
- Behavioral data on the app
3. How We Share Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we will share your personal data only when reasonably necessary, including in the following circumstances:
- Affiliates: We may share your personal data with our affiliated companies or companies within our corporate group.
- Service Providers: We may share your personal data with external third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service.
- Professional Advisors: We may disclose your personal data to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers, in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
- Disclosures Required by Law: We may disclose your information to courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies when required to comply with legal obligations.
- Business Transfers: We may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of our business or assets, including your personal data, in connection with a business transaction (or potential business transaction) such as a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
4. Information Security
We maintain technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your data. We also regularly monitor and defend against potential system vulnerabilities. However, please be aware that internet transmissions cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Use our services at your own discretion and assess the associated risks.
